Don't say NO!
People who don't think they deserve appreciation had misguided critical attention.
We are instructed to act "this way" and "that" as we learn to behave. Behavior has reflexes to recognize what has been best in the past for repetitive education. New behavior has risks just to be revelatory awareness. New knowledge is hard to share without been critical. The less comfortable new knowledge becomes, the easier it is to complain. We deny value from unrecognizable understanding. We can't always be just what (others or) we want us to be. Avenues of growth can become cul-de-sacs of thought, emotional intelligence appreciates with hidden paths to the next field of development.
So . . . What if Genius is the control of complaint and denial control cures depression?

"JUST BE YOURSELF"
I know my style seems imposing, so people don't accept this energy as me. Most think "self" is a limit & that they can own it (it as in "your-") People get grumpy when asked to wake up. Life is a loaned insight!

And the exclusive property of no-one.
The sooner you accept your insight as a shared experience rather than unique to you, and you alone, you can relax and enjoy it.
Take it for what it is, and take from it what you may. It is your prerogative to do as you please.
It's not a secret you must share, or a lesson you must teach to others. Take time to listen, and appreciate what life is for you.
Others will naturally take what they will from your insight, demonstrated in the way you live your life. They may equally reject you views. This is not judgment or complaint, but rather, a choice.
Each of us has a right to make these choices for ourselves.
Embrace your own insights, and allow space for others to do the same. Most of all, enjoy life, and your choices, while you can.
Charles, I wouldn't have gotten your agnostic perspective if I had written the pun this way, "Life is aloned insight!" but I was referring to how far the vehicle is warrantied, and you described my "equal / individual" paradox well faceted and gave us a gem, thanks!
