Um, I'm not sure what you are saying here. Or trying to say.
My own parenting style as pretty laid back for the most part. Actually, I don't think I was all that good of a parent, or all that bad of one.
But I didn't beat my kids like my parents did. I think that was a big improvement.
controlling criticism! The guilty feelings will later manifest as being too approving later (as "the debt to pay")
Your non-judgmental attitude towards your style shows resolve, you don't beat yourself!
