I was told how easy I have it, when I was a kid. Even now the complications of living still seem to let me feel I had it easier than my kids . . if nothing else, I got the benefit of timing.
The easiest aspect of these kids' lives is their access to information. When they google something and see all the possibilities will they realise how fragile opinions have become? Decisions must be much harder for them.

I envy them this access to information. The great danger is that people will believe too much of what they read on the internet. I know many people have strong reservations about the reliability of, for example, Wikipedia.
it seems to me that it is in the framing - there are always things that are easy, always things that are difficult - our challenges lie in facing those things that aren't simple.
sometimes I think that when my life is too easy I throw a monkey wrench into the works to keep myself from dying of boredom!
In another respect your kids have it artificially easy. It's as if there are fewer skills these days. Skills are a great thing for our human pride. We need them.
But you are right. Decisions are harder. And behind decisions comes the acquisition of wisdom. They will need to acquire that and they will have to find their own ways to get it. I hope they realise without much delay that they won't get the wisdom they need through "self-help" books that tell them that everything is possible.
But Nature is firm. It shows us our limitations all the quicker, the more determinedly we rage against them.
