quality care
Attention powers set frequencies that react naturally until conscious repression mutes the potential. This scale hopes to display the regression so we can remember that hate is only possible as a form of care. The purest reflex of creation is unconditional love, so each word has a scale, and I will assume contentment will satisfy the need for the point between negative and positive (give and take.) Giving is natural but taking necessitates awareness.
Love- Compassion- Respect- Patience- Approval
Contentment (active)-
Criticism- Desire- Conflict- Hate!
The opposite of care is indifference. "What you don't know can't hurt you?" If ignorance is bliss, it could be the most natural state of not-caring. Denial is the pathological way to cover-up feelings of care, so could ultimately be self-hate (lying to oneself.)

Contentment (passive)-
Avoidance- Denial!
